This joint initiative with the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Welfare coincides with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The centre is currently undergoing Rs 8 million in renovations, with each unit offering a kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom, and living area, along with green spaces and a pétanque court. The facility is equipped with security and plans for expansion with additional housing. Support services include a helpline (No. 130), Family Support Services across the island, and upcoming legislation to enhance victim protection.
