En ce mercredi 18 Septembre, Navin Ramgoolam a effectué un dépôt de gerbes au Samadhi de sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam a l’occasion du 119e anniversaire de ce dernier.

Le leader des rouges estime que SSR  a donné aux Mauriciens leur liberté et leur dignité humaine et qu’il est l’architecte de la justice sociale, de l’Etat providence et de l’independence et c’est pour cette raison qu’il fut couronné “Pere de la Nation

Navin Ramgoolam a aussi saisis cette occasion pour denoncer la repression de l’actuel gouvernement. Il estime que la liberté d’expression des Mauriciens a été bafoué par des clans.
