The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, will be the guest of honor at the Independence Day celebrations on 12 March 2025.
The announcement was made by Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam on Friday 21 February 2025, during the National Assembly, while responding to a Private Notice Question.
On this occasion, Mauritius will celebrate its 57 years of independence.
