During her three-day visit on the occasion of the 56th national day celebrations of Mauritius, Indian President Droupadi Murmu signed four agreements in a bid to strengthen ties and cooperation between the two nations.

One agreement concerns the International Financial Services Centres Authority and the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius. Another one relates to the Public Service Commission of Mauritius and the Union Public Service Commission of India. A further agreement was signed between the Central Bureau of Investigation of India and the Anti-Corruption Commission of Mauritius. A protocol to amend the double taxation avoidance agreement between Mauritius and India was also signed. Details of these agreements were not revealed.

Shrimati Draupadi Murmu had a very heavy agenda during her stay in Mauritius; the virtual inauguration of 14 small development projects funded by the Great Peninsula, the virtual unveiling of the commemorative plaque of the new building of the Forensic Science Laboratory, and a visit to the Aapravasi Ghat and the Intercontinental Slave Museum.
