
Mr. Somduth Soborun officially took his oath of office as a member of the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) on Monday, 14 September 2026. The swearing-in ceremony was conducted before the President of the Republic, Mr. Dharam Gokhool, at the State House in Le Réduit, in accordance with section 27(1G) of the Equal Opportunities Act.
