The issue of discipline in schools and the pervasive problem of bullying require urgent attention. Managing educational institutions presents significant challenges, particularly in light of the realities that many students face outside the classroom. 

The impact of domestic violence on students cannot be overlooked. For some children, homes that should serve as sanctuaries become sources of trauma. Witnessing violence can lead to a range of emotional responses, influencing behaviour in school and affecting interactions with peers. It is essential to recognize that misbehaviour may often be a reaction to deeply rooted issues rather than a mere choice.

Similarly, educators are not exempt from personal struggles. When educators deal with emotional stress, financial pressures or conflicts at home, their ability to provide guidance and nurture students is compromised. The emotional state of educators directly affects the classroom environment. Consequently, the effectiveness of teaching is diminished when educators are under strain.

The legacy being created today raises concerns about the future. If community members, including elders, cannot coexist harmoniously, what can be expected from the younger generation? The responsibility for instilling values in students is shared. It extends beyond parents to include educators and the broader community.

Children who lack proper upbringing may perceive abnormal behaviour as normal, perpetuating cycles of disrespect and bullying that mirror the trauma they experience at home.

Re-education should become a priority, emphasizing the importance of empathy, respect and understanding. Classrooms that promote open dialogue about feelings, conflict resolution and inclusivity can transform the culture of educational environments. 

As a community, the commitment to creating safe and supportive spaces for children is essential. The combined efforts of parents, educators and community members can cultivate an atmosphere where every child is encouraged to learn and thrive. The importance of taking action to foster discipline and address bullying cannot be overstated. Collective efforts are vital for building a brighter and more harmonious future for all students.

  1. If elderly persons become role model at home n in society, the impact on the younger generation may be positive. Primary socialisation at home with instruction of moral values, respect for others, sharing and demonstrating positive behaviour may yield good out put in the long run
